Bianca v/d Kieboom
Bianca is 30 years of age and a part-time teacher. She lives in Belgium with her friend and two (big) dogs. Bianca is racing now over 10 years and before her only sport was singing in a rock 'n' roll band. Her last years were the best of her triathlon career. Always finishing in the top 3 in every race she competed in (short and middle distance). In 1999 she won 11 short races and two half Ironman races. In 2000 she made her debut on the full Ironman in Klagenfürt, Austria. She finished as 10th lady, first non-pro and leaving much pro-woman behind her.
When Frank and I started his coaching program (1997) I had a bad year behind of me. Got in a bike accident and broke my neck, struggled to get back on my feet and to race again. My coach did not support me and my sponsors cancelled their contract. I was lost, did not know what to do and still struggling hard to get back. Early 1997 I met Frank and he immediately offered me to Coach me and got me a spot in his Triathlon Team. He said he still had faith in me and believed in my athletic capabilities. He coached me (and still is) in such a nice, friendly but direct way. Working with him is fantastic, every day is different. You'll never know what he comes up with in your next schedule. That is so fantastic, always something new and something different. Following his program was such a relief to me, no more boring workouts. His guidance and his flexibility to change schedule is so great. He is always trying to get the best out of me and out of my training and abilities, it works I am living proof of that.
