Coach Frank Senders created Stapsport under a very simple
Philosophy: Every athlete whether champion or participant has equal, but
drastically different needs. The only way to successfully guide any athlete is
through extensive PERSONAL service. He believes that in order for an athlete to
succeed, a close coach/athlete relationship has to be developed. It takes time
for a coach to learn the patterns and habits of the athlete, and conversely it
also takes time for the athlete to learn the coach's methods, terminology,
implied direction, and desires.
So our initial goal is to establish a
good coach/athlete relationship. We do not care if you are a world champion or
a beginner (or anything in between), the relationship between the coach and the
athlete must be good. Establishing a strong relationship initially is the way
Coach Frank always works and we feel that this is the MAIN reason that we
(athlete and coach) have success. Coach Frank can only lead and show you the
way, you have to do all the hard work.
We believe Triathlon is one
sport, not three separate sports. For the best, most efficient personal
training program an athlete needs to have a single coach not three to five
separate coaches that each think that their personal level of expertise is much
more important than any other portion of the training. This personal approach
to coaching allows for the application of science, education, and experience to
achieve.
Stapsport has a firm philosophy that as an athlete begins a
coach/athlete relationship, they are entering into a family, the Stapsport
Family. This family atmosphere is the fundamental key to the Stapsport
philosophy. As the pool of athletes grows, so does the opportunity for the
individual athlete to achieve his/her athletic goals.
How do we work?
